A special traffic regime will be introduced in Uman during the period of Rosh Hashanah - head of the regional military administration
Starting from Monday, September 11th, until Thursday, September 21st, a special entry/exit regime will be introduced in Uman (Cherkasy region) due to the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, announced the head of the regional military administration (OVA), Igor Taburets.
From September 11th to September 21st, a special entry and exit regime will be established, restricting the movement of citizens within the city. The control procedure will be the same as last year," he wrote in his Telegram channel on Tuesday.
It was previously reported that several restrictions will be imposed in the Uman neighborhood, where Hasidic pilgrims will be staying for Rosh Hashanah. These restrictions include a ban on the sale of alcohol, the sale and use of fireworks and pneumatic weapons, and toy firearms.
In 2023, Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) will be observed from September 15th to September 17th.
